Privacy Policy - The Basics

It usually also includes a statement regarding the website’s commitment to protecting its visitors’ or customers’ privacy, and an explanation about the different mechanisms the website is implementing in order to protect privacy.
Different jurisdictions have different legal obligations of what must be included in a Privacy Policy. You are responsible to make sure you are following the relevant legislation to your activities and location.
What to Include in the Privacy Policy
Generally speaking, a Privacy Policy often addresses these types of issues: the types of information the website is collecting and the manner in which it collects the data; an explanation about why is the website collecting these types of information; what are the website’s practices on sharing the information with third parties; ways in which your visitors and customers can exercise their rights according to the relevant privacy legislation; the specific practices regarding minors’ data collection; and much, much more.

Vouch is designed to support respectful, authentic, and safe interactions. These Community Guidelines explain what is expected from everyone using the platform. By participating in Vouch, you agree to help maintain a trustworthy and positive environment. Violations of these guidelines may result in actions such as warnings, temporary restrictions, or account removal, consistent with our

1. Respect Boundaries
Everyone has different comfort levels. Public profiles may not include nudity, sexually explicit content, or requests for such content. Private conversations must remain consensual and respectful. If you’re ever unsure how someone feels, ask clearly and respectfully—consent is essential.

2. Protect Your Privacy
Personal contact details (phone number, email, social handles, etc.) may not be displayed publicly on any profile. Verified profiles may choose to voluntarily share personal information only after a successful voice or video call, and only with clear consent. Sharing personal info is completely optional and never required to use Vouch. Members are encouraged to exchange sensitive details thoughtfully and prioritize their personal safety.

3. No Harmful or Violent Content
Content involving violence, threats, graphic harm, or self-harm is not allowed. If Vouch believes someone may be at risk, we may provide access to appropriate support resources.

4. Personal Use Only
Vouch is for genuine, personal connections. Advertising, solicitation, selling, promotions, or compensated relationships (including “sugar” arrangements or transactional dating) are not permitted.

5. Authenticity Matters
Members must provide accurate information and may not impersonate others or create misleading accounts. Identity verification helps support a trusted community.

6. Communicate with Respect
Harassment, bullying, hate speech, discrimination, or threats of any kind are prohibited. If someone is not a match, you may decline or unmatch respectfully. Reporting tools should be used only for legitimate violations.

Threatening behavior, intimidation, and encouraging harmful actions are not allowed. If you feel unsafe or violated, please report the situation so we can take appropriate action.

Vouch is strictly for adults. We do not allow photos of unaccompanied minors or childhood photos of yourself for safety reasons.

Illegal activity, including scams, counterfeit goods, financial fraud, exploitation, or trafficking, is prohibited. Vouch may take action consistent with applicable laws and our Terms of Service.

10. One Account Per Person
Each profile must represent one verified individual. Shared, borrowed, or multiple accounts are not permitted.

11. Respect Content Ownership
Members may upload only content they own or have permission to share. Reposting private content or images of others without consent is strictly prohibited.

Do not spread misinformation, spam, mass messages, or attempt to manipulate other users. All communication with Vouch support or staff should remain respectful.

Accounts inactive for more than two years may be removed for community quality and safety.
